Man Killed in Car Crash on Highway 371 near Wilson Valley Road in Aguanga

Aguanga, California (January 3, 2020) – One person was killed in a multi-car crash on Friday morning in Aguanga.

The deadly collision occurred on Highway 371 near Wilson Valley Road at about 6:15 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

A Nissan Versa was reportedly traveling northbound on the roadway when crashed into the rear of a Toyota pickup.

The impact of the collision caused the Nissan to drift into the southbound lanes and collided with a Mercedes-Benz.

Both the Nissan and the Mercedes overturned after the collision.

The 63-year-old man who was driving the Mercedes was killed in the crash.

Two occupants of the Toyota were uninjured.

The authorities said the driver of the Nissan fled the scene on foot.
