Carlos Robles Fatal Long Beach Pedestrian Crash on Pacific Coast Highway

Long Beach, California ( February 4, 2020) – Police officers have identified the pedestrian struck and killed by two vehicles on Sunday night in Long Beach, as Carlos Robles, 29, of Carson, police said.

The crash was reported at around 7:30 p.m. February 2, at Pacific Coast Highway and Caspian Avenue.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, Robles was walking north across Pacific Coast Highway, where there was no crosswalk, when a 56-year-old Wilmington man, driving a Toyota Camry struck him.

Robles was then struck by a red Chevrolet Tahoe that fled the scene of the crash.

Robles was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The driver of the Camry stopped and cooperated with the police.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
