1 Injured in Pittsburg Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 4
Authorities Investigating Highway 4 Car Crash in Pittsburg
Pittsburg, California (February 5, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol said one person was taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Monday morning in Pittsburg.
Three vehicles collided at about 8:50 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Highway 4 near Railroad Avenue on-ramp.
First responders found a gray Toyota Corolla, a black Chevrolet Avalanche, and a third car involved in the pileup.
At least one person was taken to John Muir Health, Walnut Creek Medical Center with major injuries including lacerations to the left knee.
Authorities had not yet established the cause of the crash at the time of the report.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
