Possible Injuries Reported After Brea Truck Crash on 57 Freeway near Imperial Highway Off-Ramp
Brea, California (January 1, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a traffic collision involving two big rigs early on Tuesday morning in Brea.
The accident took place on the northbound 57 Freeway near the Imperial Highway exit at around 2:30 a.m.
The accident involved a white sedan and two sedans. The initial report indicated that the sedan was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes when it crashed into one of the big rigs.
As per the report, a man got out of the burning car, but his condition remains unknown to this time.
All six lanes and the carpool lane of the northbound Orange Freeway were closed down as police conducted the investigation.
The Nos. 4, 5 and 6 lanes of the freeway were reopened at about 3:40 a.m.
The investigation is underway.
