Western Municipal Water District Board Member Bob Stockton Killed in Riverside Pedestrian Crash
Riverside, California (May 15, 2020) – 64-year-old Bob Stockton has been identified as the victim who was struck and killed by a vehicle in the area of Riverside at around 11:00 a.m. May 13.
As per the report, Stockton was out jogging with his wife, Kelli, along Victoria Avenue just east of Horace Street when an eastbound Dodge van struck him from behind.
Sadly, Stockton was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Mr. Stockton was an elected board member of the Western Municipal Water District and a member of the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce, which he served as chairman of the board in 2015.
The van driver, a 64-year-old Riverside woman, was not arrested after the mishap.
Neither drugs nor alcohol were suspected factors in the accident. An investigation into the crash is underway.
