At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Murphys Car Crash on Highway 4

CHP Investigating Murphys Accident on Highway 4 at Northwood Drive

Murphys, California (April 15, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol said two vehicles collided Tuesday evening on Highway 4 at Northwood Drive.

The crash left at least one person hospitalized with severe injuries.

Officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of the accident at about 6:40 a.m.

The officers found a blue Dodge Caravan and a Ford car involved in the accident. The manner of the crash was not mentioned.

Investigators shut down the highway at Northwood Drive for about 30 minutes to allow an investigation.
