At Least 1 Critically Injured in Highway 60 Crash in Riverside

At Least One Person Seriously Injured in Riverside Crash on Highway 60 near Nason Street

Riverside, California (January 27, 2020) – At least one person was seriously injured Sunday morning a traffic accident involved five vehicles in Riverside, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The multi-vehicle crash happened at about 6:49 a.m. Sunday, January 26 on Highway 60 near Nason Street.

The CHP said the wreck involved five vehicles. Details of how the crash occurred were not immediately available, but authorities said a wrong-way motorist possibly triggered the collision.

Paramedics responded to the scene and provided medical aid to the parties involved. At least one person suffered major injuries in the crash.

Further details regarding the accident were not immediately provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
