David Ramirez Killed in Chula Vista Vehicle Crash on Interstate 5 and L Street
Chula Vista, California (February 4, 2020) – Police officers have identified the man killed on Sunday in an accident involving the wrong-way, multi-car crash in Chula Vista, as David Ramirez,23. police said.
The crash was reported at around 5:00 a.m February 2, in southbound lanes of Interstate 5 at State Route 905 near L Street.
The California Highway Patrol said at least seven cars were involved in the accident.
Ramirez was killed in the crash. Three other people were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
No other details of the crash were immediately released.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
