4 Severely Injured in Rear-End Accident on Highway 24 in Lafayette

4 Hospitalized after Lafayette DUI Crash on Highway 24 near Acalanes Road Off-Ramp

Lafayette, California (April 8, 2020) – Konstantin Vodyanov, 22, of Pinole, was arrested following a suspected DUI car accident that left three other people with serious injuries Monday night in Lafayette.

Vodyanov was driving a Lexus sedan westbound on Highway 24 at a high rate of speed at about 9:06 a.m. April 6 when he slammed into the back of a Safeway big rig near the Acalanes Road off-ramp.

Vodyanov and his three male passengers sustained major injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment. The operator of the truck was uninjured.

Authorities said Vodyanov also was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI.

An investigation into the crash is underway.

Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, Mr. Arin Khodaverdian believes that car accident claims are rarely straightforward regardless of the circumstances involved. “Liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim and it is crucial, therefore, to have an experienced attorney on your side,” He said.

Mr. Khodaverdian has worked for many years as a wrongful death and personal injury attorney. He and his team of attorneys has helped thousands of injury victims and their families recover over $100 million in compensation. “In one case, we recovered a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim who was killed by a negligent driver.”

Swift action by an experienced attorney helps preserve evidence, interview witnesses, and begin to pursue those responsible for the incident.
