1 Killed, 1 Injured in Agua Dulce Car Accident on Sierra Highway and Penman Road

Agua Dulce, California (April 7, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a fatal head-on car crash that left one person nursing injuries on Tuesday morning in Agua Dulce.

The crash occurred at about 6:30 a.m., on Sierra Highway and Penman Road, near the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

A silver Toyota Prius, for unknown reasons, collided head-on with a silver Toyota 4Runner on the roadway, according to the police.

Two people, whose identities were not released, were transported to a hospital. One of the injured persons was pronounced dead at the hospital.

A temporary SigAlert was issued blocking the roadway due to the accident.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
