Man Killed in Huntington Beach Pedestrian Accident on Pacific Coast Highway near Magnolia Street
Huntington Beach, California (January 3, 2020) – A 30-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle on Thursday night in Huntington Beach, as per a police report.
The fatal crash took place at about 11:10 p.m. January 2, on Pacific Coast Highway near Magnolia Street.
The Huntington Beach Police Department said a 51-year-old driver from Toronto was driving a 2019 Dodge Durango struck the woman on the roadway.
The officers responded to the scene and found the pedestrian unresponsive on the side of the road.
The officer tried CPR until paramedics arrived, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The driver involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police.
The investigation into the crash is still underway.
