1 Injured in Car Accident on Highway 99 near Avenue 16 in Madera

Madera, California (January 3, 2020) – One person was injured in a car accident on Thursday afternoon in Madera.

The accident happened at about 2:18 p.m. January 2, on Highway 99 near Avenue 16.

According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles were involved in the accident, however, the events leading up to the collision were not immediately established.

One person was reportedly injured in the accident and was transported to a local hospital for treatment in unknown condition.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
