Steven Armstrong Killed, Woman Seriously Injured in Antioch Pedestrian Accident on Highway 4
Antioch, California (May 11, 2020) – The victim who died following a pedestrian accident in the area of Antioch Friday night has been identified as 29-year-old Steven Armstrong, a Pinole resident.
As per the report, a 2012 Nissan Versa operated by 23-year-old Bethel Island woman westbound on Highway 4, near Laurel Road, hit Armstrong while walking on the roadway at around 9:20 p.m. May 8.
The female motorist sustained major, non-life-threatening injuries while Armstrong was pronounced deceased at the crash site.
The woman was then transported to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek for further medication.
Two unidentified people riding in the Nissan at the time of the collision were not injured.
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
