Fallbrook Head-on Crash at Winter Haven Road and Clearcrest Lane Sent 2 to Hospital

Fallbrook, California (February 19, 2020) – Two people were transported to the hospital after being involved in a traffic collision that happened in the area of Fallbrook at 7:01 a.m. on Tuesday.

As per the California Highway Patrol report, two people were injured after a small sedan allegedly ran through a stop sign and crashed head-on into a black pickup truck at Winter Haven Road and Clearcrest Lane.

Due to the impact of the collision, one of the vehicles involved acquired major damage.

Police said both drivers were transported to area hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries sustained in the wreck.

Meanwhile, detectives affirmed that one of the automobiles had no license plates and were unable to locate the vehicle identification number

The CHP is still investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
