San Marcos, California (December 31, 2019) – Two drivers were severely hurt after a traffic collision Sunday night at an intersection in San Marcos, according to a local news source.
The collision happened at around 8:20 p.m. Sunday, December 29, at Rancho Santa Fe Road Boulderidge Drive.
As per the report, a car was heading southbound on Rancho Santa Fe Road and was making a left turn onto Boulderidge Drive when it crashed into another car that was traveling northbound through the junction.
Responding emergency crews rendered aid to two drivers who suffered severe non-life threatening injuries. The names of the wounded parties and their current condition were not immediately provided.
Officials did not believe alcohol or drugs to be factors in the collision.
An investigation is ongoing.
