Pedestrian Killed in Valle Vista Crash on Highway 74

Valle Vista, California (March 1, 2020) – Police officers are investigating a pedestrian crash, which left one person dead on the 45000 block of State Route 74 in Valle Vista, police said.

A pedestrian was reportedly struck and killed by a vehicle on Friday, February 28, at around 7:06 p.m. in Valle Vista, according to the Riverside County Fire Department 

Paramedics responded to the scene of the crash found the pedestrian unconscious. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash shortly after the accident.

The identity of the victim was not released pending notification of the next of kin.

No details of the motorist involved were immediately released.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
