1 Dies Following Fatal Semi-Truck Accident at Ramona Expressway and Lakeview Avenue in Nuevo

Nuevo, California (December 11, 2019) – According to a local news source, a person was killed in a traffic accident that happened Tuesday night near Nuevo and Lakeview, just west of Perris.

The deadly crash occurred at about 9:40 p.m. Tuesday, December 10 near the intersection of Ramona Expressway and Lakeview Avenue.

As per the report, a semi-truck and a pickup truck were involved in the wreck. Details of what led up to the crash are unknown at this time.

One person inside the pickup truck died as a result of the accident. The identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

As of 10:30 p.m., Ramona Expressway was closed for at least three hours between Rider Street and Lakeview Avenue following the crash.
