One Killed in Paso Robles Car Accident on Highway 101 near Main Street

Paso Robles, California (December 14, 2019) – A person was killed Friday night in a two-vehicle crash in Paso Robles, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The deadly accident took place just after 11:00 p.m. Friday, December 13 on Highway 101, just north of Main Street.

According to the CHP, a Ford Explorer collided with a Honda CRV on Highway 101. As a result of the crash, the Explorer drifted off the roadway and crashed into trees before coming to rest on its roof. The Honda came to a stop in the center median.

The driver of the Explorer was driving recklessly prior to the collision.

One person, whose name has not been disclosed pending family notification, was declared dead at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
