Pedestrian Dies After Getting Struck by Metrolink Train on San Fernando Road in Pacoima
Pedestrian Killed in Pacoima Train Accident on N San Fernando Road Tuesday morning
Pacoima, California (April 8, 2020) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a Metrolink train in the 9800 block of N San Fernando Road in Pacoima on Tuesday morning, authorities said.
The pedestrian, whose name has not been disclosed, was on the tracks when he or she was struck by Metrolink AV line Train no. 212 at about 10:43 a.m. April 7.
The victim was declared dead at the scene.
None of the passengers and crews aboard the train was hurt as a result of the crash.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
