1 Injured In El Cajon Crash On Highway 67 Near Magnolia Avenue

El Cajon, California (December 26, 2019) – A person was injured in a traffic accident in El Cajon Friday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The wreck occurred shortly after 5:38 p.m. Friday, December 20 on Highway 67 near Magnolia Avenue exit.

The CHP said a Toyota Tacoma Prerunner and a Dodge Challenger collided on the southbound lanes of the highway for an unknown reason.

Medical personnel responded to the scene and rendered aid to one person who suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash. The name of the patient and their condition at this time were not disclosed.

Alcohol or drugs were considered a factor in the accident.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
