1 Dead In Fresno DUI Crash On Avenue 384 Near Monson Avenue

Fresno, California (December 26, 2019) – One person was killed Thursday morning in an alleged DUI crash in Fresno, according to a local news source.

The deadly crash happened on Avenue 384 near Monson Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Kia was heading westbound on Avenue 384 when for an unknown reason, it veered into the eastbound lanes and collided head-on with a Chevy.

The female driver of the Chevy died in the crash. Her name was not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.

The Kia driver was taken to a nearby hospital with major injuries.

Police recovered a controlled substance in the Kia.

The accident remains under investigation.
