1 Hospitalized after Fiery Napa Car Accident on Highway 12 at South Kelly Road near Eagle Vines Golf Club

Napa, California (December 30, 2019) – A person was injured early Saturday morning in a traffic crash involving two vehicles in the area of Highway 12 and Kelly Road in Napa, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The accident took place at around 1:20 a.m. Saturday, December 28 at the intersection of Highway 12 and Kelly Road near the Eagle Vines Golf Club.

According to the CHP report, a red Mini Cooper collided with a black colored Jeep SUV for reasons still under investigation at the Napa intersection. The Mini Cooper caught fire upon the impact.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and rendered aid to one person who was hurt in the crash. The patient was then taken to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center to be treated for unspecified injuries.

The name of the injured party and condition at this time were not immediately disclosed.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
