At Least 1 Injured in Walnut Creek Car Crash at Treat Boulevard and Buskirk Avenue

Walnut Creek, California (February 1, 2020) – Police are investigating a Friday night crash that left at least one person injured in Walnut Creek.

The crash occurred a while before 9:00 p.m. on January 31, at the intersection of Treat Boulevard and Buskirk Avenue near Interstate 680 Freeway.

The CHP said a black Mitsubishi SUV and a white-colored sedan crashed, for reasons yet to be confirmed, at the intersection.

At least one person sustained minor injuries and was aided by paramedics at the scene.

The Mitsubishi sustained significant damages, including a broken front axle.

The roadway was closed temporarily after the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
