1 Seriously Hurt in Riverside County Head-On Crash Near Cherry Valley Boulevard and Union Street
Riverside County, California (February 1, 2020) – One person was hospitalized after being involved in a two-vehicle accident in the area of Riverside County on Friday night.
The major injury collision took place at around 8:30 p.m. January 31, in the area of Cherry Valley Boulevard and Union Street near the Interstate 10 Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident involved a blue Toyota Prius and a white Kia sedan that collided head-on near the intersection for undisclosed reasons.
Paramedics, along with the fire department officials, responded at the scene shortly the wreck and rendered aid to one person who suffered major injuries.
The unidentified victim was taken to a local hospital for further treatment.
The crash resulted in the closure of the highway for an unknown time.
The CHP is still investigating the cause of the accident.
