1 Injured in Fresno Car Accident at Peach and Olive Avenues

Fresno, California (January 30, 2020) – At least one person was hospitalized Thursday morning after a head-on collision involving a Fresno police cruiser in east central Fresno, a local news source reported.

Authorities said the wreck took place at about 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of Peach and Olive Avenues, and involved three vehicles.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and extricated at least one person who was trapped inside their vehicle. The patient was then taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries. The name and condition of the victim were not immediately available.

Authorities closed Peach and Olive Avenues as crews worked to clear the scene.
