Pedestrian Hit, Injured by Vehicle on Avenue 70 in Thermal

Woman Airlifted after Thermal Pedestrian Accident on Avenue 70

Thermal, California (January 31, 2020) – According to a local news report, a pedestrian was airlifted after being hit by a vehicle Thursday morning in Thermal.

The pedestrian crash took place just after 6:00 a.m. Thursday, January 30 in the 88-700 block of Avenue 70.

As per the report, a young woman was hit by a vehicle while she was waiting at a school bus stop. It remains unclear whether the victim was a teenager.

The pedestrian was airlifted to a hospital with unspecified injuries. The name and condition of the patient at this time were not immediately disclosed.

Reportedly, the driver of the vehicle involved fled the scene after the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.
