Motorists Injured, Brandon Hall Arrested after Dunnigan Crash on Interstate 5 near County Road 4
Yolo County, California (January 30, 2019) – Brandon Hall, 27, of Williams, has been arrested following a traffic accident that happened Sunday night in Dunnigan, Yolo County.
The multi-vehicle crash took place at about 7:15 p.m. Sunday, January 26 on northbound Interstate 5 near County Road 4.
According to a California Highway Patrol report, a Dodge driven by Hall, was traveling northbound on Interstate 5 when it tried to pass a Toyota. For an undetermined reason, the Dodge clipped the Toyota.
The force of the impact caused both vehicles to lose control and spin into the southbound lanes, where they collided head-on with two other vehicles.
Hall was transported to Mercy San Juan Hospital with major injuries. He was later arrested on suspicion DUI.
The CHP said the other motorists sustained minor to moderate injuries. Their names and current conditions were not immediately disclosed.
The accident remains under investigation.
