1 Dead in Highway 14 Crash in Mojave
1 Killed in Mojave Truck Crash on Highway 14 near Silver Queen Road
Mojave, California (February 26, 2020) – Authorities are investigating the cause of a fiery traffic accident involving a big rig and a car that happened in Mojave Tuesday night.
The deadly crash took place at about 7:23 p.m. Tuesday, February 25 on Highway 14, just north of Silver Queen Road.
Authorities said the truck collided with the car on the southbound side of the highway. Both vehicles caught fire after the impact.
One person, whose name was not immediately disclosed, died as a result of the crash.
The northbound lane of the highway was blocked at Silver Queen Road during the investigation.
The accident remains under investigation.
