1 Killed, 2 Injured in Napa Crash on Browns Valley Road near Austin Way and Larkin Way

Napa, California (February 3, 2020) – A person was killed and two other people were injured Sunday night in a head-on collision in Napa, police said.

The fatal crash took place just before 7:50 p.m. Sunday, February 2 on Browns Valley Road near Austin Way and Larkin Way.

According to the police, a red Chevy Camaro was making a left turn onto eastbound Browns Valley Road when, for an unknown reason, the Camaro collided head-on with a black Infiniti that was traveling westbound Browns Valley.

The driver of the Camaro, that vehicle’s sole occupant, was taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, where they were later declared dead. The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of family.

The driver and passenger of the Infiniti were also transported to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa with unspecified injuries. Their names and conditions were not immediately available.

Browns Valley Road was closed in both directions between Austin and Larkin as the authorities investigated the crash.
