Woman Seriously Injured in Santa Rosa Car Accident at Highway 12 and Boas Drive

Santa Rosa, California (February 3, 2020) – According to a local news report, a woman sustained serious injuries following a traffic accident that happened Sunday night in the area of Highway 12 and Boas Drive in Santa Rosa.

The two-car crash happened at the intersection of Highway 12 and Boas Drive at around 7:00 p.m. Sunday, February 2.

According to the local news report, a four-door sedan collided with a dark-colored SUV at the Santa Rosa intersection.

Authorities said the woman driving the sedan was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by firefighters.

The woman was then taken a hospital with major injuries. Her name and current condition remained undisclosed.

Authorities said there were no passengers in either vehicle.

Police closed westbound Highway 12 while they investigated the accident. Alcohol or drugs were not suspected to be factors in the collision.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
