Zingali Joseph, 3 Others Killed in Corona Plane Crash at Corona Municipal Airport

Corona, California (January 24, 2020) – Zingali Joseph, 85, of Torrance, was among four people killed after a single-engine plane crashed in Corona Wednesday afternoon, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Bureau.

The deadly plane crash happened at about 12:11 p.m. Wednesday, January 22 on the east side of Corona Municipal Airport.

According to officials, a single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza was trying to take off from the single-runway, non-towered airport when for undetermined reasons, the pilot lost control of the plane and crashed into a fence. The plane then tumbled over an embankment northeast of the airport, where it went on fire.

Four people, including, Joseph, died in the crash.

The accident remains under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
