Xiaomin Deng Among 5 Injured in Inyo County on Highway 190 near Mesquite Dunes
Inyo County, California (January 3, 2020) – Police officers have identified one of the five people injured in head-on crash on Monday evening in Inyo County, as Xiaomin Deng, of Sammamish Washington, police said.
The crash was reported at around 4:50 p.m. December 30th, 2019, on Highway 190, just east of the Mesquite Dunes.
Police said a Kia Optima, driven by Takumi Segawa of Hokkaido, Japan, was westbound on Highway 190 crossing the double yellow lines when it struck a Chevrolet Malibu driven by Deng.
Five people, including a Deng, were injured and taken to University Medical Center in Las Vegas by ambulance.
No other details of the crash were immediately released.
