Fatal Pedestrian Crash in Turlock on East Avenue

Turlock, California (January 10, 2020) – A 78-woman was killed in a pedestrian crash on Wednesday evening in Turlock, police said.

The deadly crash was reported at around 6:00 p.m. January 8, on East Avenue near North Rosa Street.

The Turlock Police Department said the woman was walking down East Avenue when a vehicle struck her.

Paramedics responded to the crash, and despite their help, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The driver stopped and cooperated with the police.

Alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors leading to crash.

The investigation into the crash is still underway.
