Woman Struck and Killed by Vehicle at Mariposa Street and R Street in Fresno
Fatal Fresno Pedestrian Accident at Mariposa Street and R Street
Fresno, California (March 11, 2020) – A female party was struck and killed by a pickup truck while crossing the intersection of Mariposa and R streets at about 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday in downtown Fresno, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The circumstances that lead to the March 11 collision were not immediately disclosed at the time of the report.
As per the CHP report, the woman died at Community Regional Medical Center, where he was admitted after the wreck.
The name of the deceased has not yet been released to this time.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
