Woman Killed in 3-Vehicles Crash at Century Boulevard and Olive Street in South Los Angeles

South Los Angeles DUI Car Accident at Century Boulevard and Olive Street Leaves Woman Dead

Los Angeles, California (April 20, 2020)A three-vehicle crash in the area of Century Boulevard and Olive Street in South Los Angeles killed a woman Sunday morning, authorities said.

According to the police, a woman in her 30s was driving northbound on Olive Street at around 3:45 a.m. April 19, when she failed to stop for a red light at the intersection and crashed into two vehicles.

Due to the impact, one of those two vehicles crashed into a light signal and ejected the female driver.

The woman, whose name has not been disclosed pending family notification, sustained fatal injuries in the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman who caused the collision suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital. She was later arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and DUI.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
