CHP Investigating Gilroy Traffic Crash at Church and Sycamore Avenues

Gilroy, California (April 19, 2020) – Authorities responded to the scene of a crash involving a dirt bike and a car Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Church Avenue and Sycamore Avenue in Gilroy.

The accident happened at about 1:10 p.m. and left one person hospitalized.

The California Highway Patrol said the dirt bike collided with a gray Dodge Dakota for unknown reasons.

First responders found the rider down on the side of the road. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Authorities are investigating the crash.
