26-Year-Old Woman Dies after California City Car Crash at Redwood Boulevard and 98th Street

California City, California (June 7, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Thursday evening car accident that killed a 26-year-old California City woman at a California City intersection.

The crash transpired at about 5:55 p.m., on June 4, at the intersection of Redwood Boulevard and 98th Street. 

As per the police report, two-vehicles collided at the intersection. The manner at which the crash transpired is yet to be established.

First responders arrived at the scene and extricated the California city woman who was trapped in one of the vehicles involved in the accident.

The woman was transported to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her name was not disclosed.

Drugs or alcohol were not believed to have played a role in the mishap.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call the California City Police Department at 760-373-8606.
