Woman killed in Marina Car Crash on Highway 1

Marina, California – The California Highway Patrol has stated that one woman was killed in the Marina car accident that happened on Highway 1, on Tuesday.

A Chevrolet Blazer was traveling northbound on Highway 1 when it drifted towards the right to avoid a small couch in the roadway.

The driver changed direction towards the left into the center divider unfortunately crashed into the guardrail.

As the driver was not wearing a seat belt when the accident happened, was ejected.

Following the accident, the woman was killed. Meanwhile, a dog was found inside the vehicle and was taken to the animal shelter, reported as ok.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
