CHP Investigating Westminster Eight-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 405 Freeway at Bolsa Avenue

Westminster, California (December 13, 2019) – According to the California Highway Patrol, Westminster multi-vehicle collision on Thursday morning possibly resulted in unspecified injuries.

The eight-vehicle crash happened shortly before 7:51 a.m. December 12, on the northbound Interstate 405 Freeway near Bolsa Avenue.

A silver Toyota Highlander SUV, a white Kia Forte, a light blue Range Rover, and possibly another five vehicles were involved in the mishap.

The female party driving the Suv told the CHP that another vehicle cut her off in the carpool lane at the time of the accident.

It was not mentioned the extent of injuries sustained and the exact number of victims hurt in the crash.

The No. 1 lane of the freeway was closed down as polices conducted the investigation.

Meanwhile, the damaged vehicles were removed from the site of the accident by tow trucks.

The accident remains under an active investigation.
