Victor Can Identified as Man Killed in Highland Pedestrian Crash at Baseline Street
Highland, California (January 8, 2020) – 62-year-old Victor Manuel Matos Can of Highland has been identified as the man killed after a pedestrian accident on Sunday evening in the area of Highland, according to authorities.
The fatal collision happened at the Baseline Street and Golondrina Drive intersection at around 5:45 p.m. Sunday, January 5.
As per the CHP officials, Can was hit by a vehicle for unknown reasons.
Can suffered critical injuries as a result of the crash. Responding paramedics attended to him before taking him to the hospital where he later died.
Officials mentioned that the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officials.
An investigation is underway.
