Authorities ID’d George Rowlands as Motorcyclist Killed in Camarillo Crash on Petit Street near Dawson Drive
Camarillo, California (May 22, 2020) – 60-year-old George Rowlands, of Simi Valley, has been identified as the victim who died following a motorcycle accident that happened at approximately 12:24 p.m. May 20 in Camarillo, Ventura County.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, Rowlands slammed into a two-door coupe while riding his motorcycle along Petit Street near Dawson Drive Wednesday afternoon.
Rowlands was ejected from the bike upon the impact and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials identified the coupe driver as a 73-year-old Porter Ranch man.
