Leonel Tinoco Killed After 2 Vehicles Crashed on West Stowell Road near Blosser Road in Santa Maria
Santa Maria, California (February 13, 2020) – 37-year-old Leonel Tinoco of Santa Maria has been identified as the male victim who died following a car crash that happened on West Stowell Road near Blosser Road in Santa Maria early on Friday morning.
According to the Santa Maria police, a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Michael Lee of Santa Maria broadsided Tinoco’s vehicle on the roadway at approximately 1:20 a.m. February 7.
Sadly, Tinoco died in the accident.
Lee sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash.
Speed was suspected to be a factor at the time of the collision.
Meanwhile, Police arrested Lee on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and DUI causing injuries.
The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to identify the cause of the accident.
