Victor Ruvalcava Hurt in Mission Valley Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 8

Mission Valley, California (December 10, 2019) – Victor Ruvalcava has been identified as the victim struck and injured by a vehicle last week on Wednesday morning in Mission Valley.

According to a local news source, the collision took place in the morning hours on December 4, along Interstate 8.

Police said Ruvalcava stopped his vehicle after he noticed a car that flipped over and ejected the driver along the interstate. A passing SUV hit Ruvalcava as he was going to check on the other driver.

Ruvalcava sustained several injuries, including a collapsed lung, broken ribs, and leg following the wreck.
