At Least 1 Hurt in Norwalk Accident on 605 Freeway near Imperial Highway

Norwalk, California (December 10, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a minor injury crash that left at least one person injured on Monday afternoon in Norwalk.

The crash occurred at about 2:39 p.m. Monday, December 9, on northbound 605 Freeway, just south of Imperial Highway.

Officials said four vehicles collided for reasons yet to be determined.

Responding emergency crews rendered aid to at least one party who complained of chest pain following the collision. The name of the wounded party and their current condition were not immediately provided.

The vehicles were towed away from the scene.

Authorities closed lane 1 and the HOV lane as a result of the collision.
