Ventura Pedestrian Accident on Seaward Avenue Near Alessandro Drive Sent 1 to Hospital
Juvenile Injured in Ventura Pedestrian Crash on Seaward Avenue, March 11
Ventura, California (March 12, 2020) – A child was struck and injured by a vehicle on Wednesday afternoon in Ventura, a local news source reported.
As per the report, the kid was hit by a work truck while walking on the sidewalk along southbound Seaward Avenue near Alessandro Drive shortly before 3:30 p.m.
The initial report showed that the work truck jumped the curb before hitting the victim.
The operator of the involved vehicle stopped after the crash and cooperated with the investigation.
The pedestrian sustained unspecified injuries in the crash. The victim was attended to by medical personnel and then rushed to Ventura County Medical Center for further treatment.
The identity and the current condition of the patient have not yet been released to this time.
The crash resulted in the closure of southbound Seaward Avenue at Ocean Avenue for an unknown time.
The investigation is still ongoing.
