Authorities Investigating I-5 Car Collision near Tamarack Avenue in Carlsbad

Carlsbad, California (January 14, 2020) – A Monday night car collision on Interstate 5 in Carlsbad resulted in minor injuries, according to California Highway Patrol officers who responded to the scene.

The officers said two vehicles collided at about 10:29 p.m. in the southbound lanes at Tamarack Avenue.

One of the vehicles rolled over after the impact.

Paramedics who responded to the scene said minor injuries were sustained in the crash. The number of patients, however, was not mentioned.

Tow trucks were needed to clear the collision scene.
