Highway 101 Motorcycle Crash near Wendy Drive On-Ramp in Thousand Oaks; Major Injuries Sustained
Thousand Oaks, California (February 8, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol said a motorcycle and an SUV collided Friday afternoon on Highway 101 in Thousand Oaks.
The crash, which resulted in major injuries, happened at about 1:57 p.m. in the southbound lanes where Wendy Drive on-ramp ends.
First responders found the rider down in the traffic lanes.
The cause of the crash and the number of parties injured remained unknown.
The SUV acquired crash damage to the right rear. Both the motorcycle and the car were towed away from the crash scene.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
