Susan Palmer Identified Woman Killed in Huntington Car Crash on Gothard Street near Center Avenue

Huntington Beach, California (January 3, 2020) – 61-year-old Susan Palmer, of Huntington Beach, has been identified as the woman killed in suspected DUI crash on Wednesday night in Huntington Beach, according to authorities.

The fatal crash occurred at around 9:25 p.m. January 1, on Gothard Street near Center Avenue.

The Huntington Beach Police said a 17-year-old boy from Westminster was driving a 2013Nissan Rogue, which collided head-on with a 2016 Kia Soul.

Palmer, a passenger in the back seat of a Kia, was killed in the crash.

The driver and the front -seat passenger of the Kia, complained of pain.

The driver of the Nissan was arrested following the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
