Shor Xiong ID’d as One of Four Killed in Fresno Head-On Crash on Millerton Road near Bellaggio Road

Fresno, California (March 15, 2020) – One of the four people who were killed early Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash near Millerton Lake in Fresno County has been identified as Shor Xiong, 60, of Fresno.

The fatal crash happened on Millerton Road, just south of Bellagio Road at about 2:00 a.m. on March 13.

Authorities said a 1995 Nissan pickup truck was heading northbound on Millerton Road when, for undetermined reasons, it veered into the southbound lane and collided head-on with a 1998 Toyota Camry.

The driver of the Nissan was declared dead at the scene. Xiong and two other female passengers in the rear seat of the Toyota were also pronounced dead at the crash site.

The driver of the Toyota sustained major injuries and was flown to Community Regional Medical Center. His right front male passenger was taken by ground ambulance to CRMC with serious injuries.

All parties were wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision. Authorities said neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected factors in the accident.
