Shawn Williams Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Hazel Avenues in Orangevale

Shawn Williams Identified as Teen Killed in Orangevale Pedestrian Accident at Hazel and Oak Avenues

Orangevale, California (April 12, 2020) –  A person was hit and killed by a vehicle  Friday morning in Orangevale, said the authorities.

The deadly accident was reported at about 6:15 a.m., on April 10, at Hazel and Oak avenues.

Shawn Williams, 13, of Orangevale, was struck by a vehicle while he was crossing the roadway. The reasons that led to the crash were yet to be established, according to the officials.

Williams succumbed to his injuries at the crash site.

The involved driver stopped at the scene and was cooperative, said the police.

The accident remains under investigation.
